About This Role
The Senior Product Manager International Rapid Response Payment Systems will drive the design, evaluation, and deployment of cutting-edge payment solutions for crisis-affected and extremely poor populations worldwide. This role is fully remote but requires at least 3 hours of overlap with an East Africa timezone.
What You’ll Do
- Payments Strategy and Roadmapping: Own product vision, roadmap, and set actionable goals.
- Innovate Global Payments: Evaluate international payment solutions including blockchain and decentralized finance.
- Build Payment Infrastructure: Design secure, compliant systems and integrate payment rails.
- Research & Collaboration: Conduct landscape analysis and work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Performance Management: Define, monitor metrics, and refine internal playbooks.
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years experience in international digital payment systems or fintech.
- Expertise in global remittance, mobile money, and compliance frameworks.
- Experience with stablecoin or crypto payment solutions.
- Ability to navigate high ambiguity and collaborate across diverse teams.
- Strong analytical, project management, and technical documentation skills.
Nice to Have
Experience in crisis or humanitarian contexts; familiarity with startups in emerging markets; comfort with SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation.
Compensation
The US base salary is $129,000 and the Kenya base salary is $101,221. For candidates outside these regions, an estimated salary benchmark will be shared during the hiring process.
