Overview

GitLab is an open-core software company with a comprehensive AI-powered DevSecOps Platform used by over 100,000 organizations. The New Business Account Executive will drive growth by acquiring net-new customers and expanding GitLab’s market presence.

Role Responsibilities

In this greenfield role, you will:

  • Manage the full sales cycle from outreach to close.
  • Build relationships with C-level and senior technical buyers.
  • Create and manage your own pipeline through high-quality prospecting.
  • Engage in discovery meetings and complex multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
  • Collaborate with SDR pods, Solutions Architecture, Marketing, and Customer Success.
  • Utilize GitLab’s methodologies including MEDDPICC and Command of the Message.

Requirements

Candidates should have B2B SaaS sales experience focused on net-new logo acquisition. Proven success in building territories and managing multiple opportunities is expected. Familiarity with modern sales tech stacks such as Salesforce, Clari, Outreach, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator is essential.
