As a Business Systems Analyst, Marketing on GitLab's Lead to Cash team, you will be the strategic bridge between Marketing, Sales, and Partner teams and the technical execution across our go-to-market systems ecosystem.
Role Overview
The role focuses on the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Lead to Opportunity process by analyzing business needs, translating them into requirements, and delivering scalable solutions. You will work with systems like Salesforce and Marketo, lead discovery sessions and gap analyses, and drive change management for improved efficiency and measurement.
What You Will Do
- Partner with Marketing Operations and Channel stakeholders to understand priorities.
- Lead discovery sessions and requirements workshops for new initiatives.
- Translate business needs into clear user stories, functional requirements, and success metrics.
- Conduct current-state and future-state assessments including gap analysis.
- Support and optimize key Lead to Cash workflows across CRM and marketing technology.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on processes and outcomes.
- Drive change management activities including communications, training, and documentation.
- Track project progress and mentor junior analysts.
What You Will Bring
- 3+ years experience in business systems analysis with a CRM focus.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce and Marketo; CPQ familiarity is a plus.
- Ability to gather, document, and analyze complex requirements.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in gap analysis and process improvement.
- Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Knowledge of Agile practices, SDLC, and change management in remote setups.
- Interest in mentoring and potentially holding relevant certifications.

On GitLab's Lead to Cash team, you'll work remotely with a globally distributed, asynchronous team focused on optimizing marketing operations and enhancing customer workflows. The team collaborates closely to deliver measurable, scalable system improvements.
