Overview
As a Senior Technical Partner Manager, you will lead strategic initiatives to grow and activate GitHub’s partner ecosystem. You will align cross-functional technical stakeholders to co-create solutions, accelerate joint go-to-market efforts, and drive adoption of GitHub products at scale.
Responsibilities
- Drive innovation and thought leadership with large, strategic partners.
- Establish deep technical and executive relationships to influence adoption of GitHub technologies.
- Facilitate match-making and co-selling efforts with partner teams and account teams.
- Support the technical enablement and pre-sales process for partners.
- Participate in pipeline reviews, forecasting, and strategy formulation.
Partner Impact and Enablement
Guide partner technical teams, coach resilience against tech issues, and ensure smooth deployment and consumption of solutions. Translate technical solutions into tangible business benefits while maintaining compliance with GitHub's policies.
Qualifications
Experience required includes 7+ years in sales, channel or solution selling or a combination of education and experience in related fields. Business level proficiency in English and Spanish is required along with the ability to travel up to 20%.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
Strong background in cloud technologies and GitHub products (GHE, Copilot, GHAS) is desired with familiarity to Microsoft sales approaches and go-to-market strategies, alongside proven leadership and strategic vision skills.
Compensation & GitHub Values
The base salary range is USD $85,680.00 - $227,220.00 per year with opportunities for sales incentives and additional benefits. GitHub values customer obsession, growth mindset, diversity, and inclusive leadership principles.
