Overview
The Senior Technical Partner Manager role proactively creates, nurtures, and influences a partner ecosystem to drive larger customer impact. This role connects technical stakeholders, drives co-selling with strategic solutions partners, and collaborates with teams to integrate partner expertise into sales cycles, ensuring robust pipeline coverage.
Responsibilities
- Thought Leadership & Stakeholder Management: Drive innovation, establish executive relationships, and collaborate with technical community.
- Facilitate partner match-making and support co-selling for GitHub's strategic solution partners.
- Engage partners to ensure prioritization and drive pipeline effectiveness.
- Participate in account planning, pipeline reviews, and align GitHub solutions to customer needs.
- Partner Impact and Enablement: Guide technical teams, translate technical solutions to business benefits, and remain updated on GitHub's sales compliance processes.
- Leverage partner feedback to drive improvements and innovative solution presentations.
- Support technical pre-sales, deployment, and partner co-selling initiatives.
Qualifications
Required qualifications include a combination of education and experience in core sales, channel or solution selling, architecture, or business development with 7+ years experience, or equivalent qualifications. Experience in technology solutions, digital transformation, cloud platforms, and emerging trends like generative AI and SaaS products is essential. Demonstrated ability in Global Systems Integrator or Global Partner GTM development for consumption-based SaaS products is required.
Preferred qualifications include a strong background in cloud technologies, familiarity with Microsoft sales approaches, and proven leadership capabilities in strategy and business growth.
