Role Overview
As a Senior Technical Partner Manager, you will lead strategic initiatives to grow and activate GitHub’s partner ecosystem. You will align cross-functional technical stakeholders to co-create solutions, accelerate joint go-to-market efforts, and drive the adoption of GitHub products at scale.
Responsibilities
- Thought Leadership & Stakeholder Management: Drive innovation, develop deep technical relationships with executive partners, and support co-selling motions.
- Partner Impact and Enablement: Guide technical teams in pre-sales, deployment, and solution development while translating technical solutions into business benefits.
- Collaborate with Microsoft colleagues and partner communities to align technical solutions with business needs.
- Drive pipeline reviews, co-sell partnerships, and engage in strategic account planning.
Qualifications
Required qualifications include extensive experience (7+ years or equivalent) in sales, channel sales, solution selling, or business development within technology. Experience in digital transformation, cloud platforms, and emerging cloud trends like generative AI is essential. Ability to travel about 20% is required.
Preferred qualifications include a strong background in cloud technologies, knowledge of GitHub’s offerings such as GHE, Copilot, GHAS, and familiarity with Microsoft sales strategies.
