Overview

As a Senior Service Delivery Engineer, you will join the Expert Services team to solve customer challenges, drive solutions, and enhance software delivery using GitHub's products and technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Delivery Readiness: Monitor performance and support delivery quality; provide coaching and training; evolve product knowledge.
  • Customer Delivery: Lead pre-sales, scope exercises, improve customer adoption, and manage engagements effectively.
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, resolve technical issues, and advocate for product improvements.
  • Solutions Development: Develop tailored solutions, provide technical clarity, and create reusable customer solutions.

Qualifications

Required: 7+ years in technical consulting, software development, or related fields OR a relevant degree with 5+ years experience; 1+ year leading customer projects; in-depth Git knowledge.

Preferred: 9+ years of experience, 3+ years in leading customer projects, familiarity with GitHub platform, and strong experience with AI-assisted coding assistants.
