Overview
As a Customer Success Manager at GitHub, you will align with internal teams to support customer business priorities using data-driven customer success plans. You will help resolve blockers, accelerate adoption, and ensure operational excellence and effective communication between customers and multiple internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Understanding the Customer: Align with teams, research customer needs, and update stakeholder maps.
- Driving Business Value Realization: Adapt success plans to meet key performance metrics and support change initiatives.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Coordinate internal teams and external partners to drive results.
- Operational and Execution Excellence: Manage processes, ensure engagement hygiene, and provide timely updates.
- Customer Trust and Advocacy: Act as the voice of the customer and share feedback for product improvement.
- Community Involvement: Connect customers with relevant programs and share best practices.
- Technical Development: Leverage learning opportunities and build technical expertise alongside Customer Success Architects and Engineering teams.
Qualifications
A minimum of 5+ years experience in customer success or related fields, or equivalent combinations of education and experience. Ability to travel up to 25% is required. Preferred experience includes enterprise software/SaaS and change management.
