Overview
The Customer Success Architect III role at GitHub focuses on building strong technical relationships, driving business growth, and aligning GitHub solutions with customer digital transformation goals. The role bridges technical and business objectives with a primary focus on customer enablement and post-sales activities.
Responsibilities
- Customer and Industry Insights: Align customer business requirements with GitHub product features to support digital transformation. Leverage best practices and industry expertise to inform account strategy and provide actionable recommendations.
- Trusted Advisor: Advise technical and business stakeholders on DevOps and DevSecOps strategies. Simplify complex technical concepts and serve as the customer advocate by relaying feedback and escalating critical issues.
- Customer Enablement: Use readiness resources to support technology adoption, clearly communicating the value of GitHub solutions, and providing tailored recommendations.
- Partnership: Collaborate with GitHub Revenue and Product teams to define account strategy and drive solution implementation with large customers.
Qualifications
Required qualifications include 5+ years in technical consulting or technical sales, or equivalent educational background with relevant experience. Applicants should have 2+ years experience driving technical transformation in enterprise organizations, specializing in software development, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and open-source practices. Ability to travel up to 25% is required.
Preferred qualifications include experience orchestrating technical, support, and/or partner teams, business consulting, and a deep understanding of DevOps/DevSecOps trends.
Compensation
The base salary range is USD $75,920.00 - USD $201,440.00 per year, plus potential sales incentives, annual bonus, and stock rewards based on individual impact.
