About Your Team And Your Mission

You'll join our 4-person Security & IT team, working closely with Office Management and collaborating across all departments. As a cybersecurity scale-up handling sensitive secrets for Fortune 500 companies, our IT operations are a trust multiplier—every access control, device policy, and automation we build reinforces the security posture we promise our customers. With GitGuardian growth expected in the next 18 months, your work will directly enable that scale while maintaining our SOC 2 certification and zero-trust principles. You're not just "IT support"—you're building the secure, frictionless foundation that lets engineers ship faster, sales teams work globally, and the company expand without operational chaos.

Your Main Responsibilities Will Be

Proactive improvements and automation (60% of your time)

  • Automate onboarding/offboarding workflows using N8N, Okta, Google Workspace, and custom scripts
  • Improve our hardware inventory system and asset tracking processes
  • Design and deploy IT security controls aligned with SOC 2 compliance
  • Build self-service tools and documentation to reduce repetitive support tickets
  • Optimize device management policies across Mac and Linux fleets using Kandji MDM

Operational support (40% of your time)

  • Respond to IT support requests
  • Manage access requests following least-privilege principles
  • Handle laptop ordering, delivery tracking, and device configuration
  • Procure and manage accessories (headsets, peripherals, etc.)
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and account issues for team members globally

About You

  • Comfortable with Mac and Linux environments—you've managed devices, troubleshot OS issues, or supported end users on both platforms

  • Security-aware approach—you understand the "why" behind access controls, encryption, and least-privilege principles
