Role Overview
The Manager Financial Planning & Analysis plays a pivotal role in advancing GSUSA’s financial strategy. The role involves leading budgeting, forecasting, long-range financial planning, and delivering strategic insights. You will be a trusted advisor in a mission-focused environment and work closely with senior leaders to drive informed decision-making.
Essential Responsibilities
- Financial Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead organization-wide budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
- Financial Strategy & Analysis: Provide data-driven insights, ROI evaluations, and scenario analyses.
- Business Partnership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial resources with strategic priorities.
- Special Projects: Drive cross-functional initiatives and process improvements.
- Reporting & Compliance: Oversee month-end close, financial reporting, and compliance.
Required Competencies & Technical Skills
Strong analytical skills and advanced proficiency in Excel are essential. Experience with financial systems like Abila, Blackbaud, or NetSuite, and tools such as Power BI, is required.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Business, or Accounting is required with a minimum of five years in a corporate environment.
Work Arrangement & Location
This is a hybrid role based in New York City, requiring 2 days in-office.
Compensation & Benefits
The salary range is $80,900 - $115,000 with comprehensive benefits including paid time off, health coverage, 401(k), and other perks.
