Job Description

Mission of the Role

You will be responsible for leading the acquisition and management of technology projects within the Public Administration sector (Local, Regional, and National), positioning Gigas' portfolio as the reference solution in critical infrastructures, connectivity, and advanced AI and Security services.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Opportunity Identification: Detect and manage public tenders (open tenders, minor contracts, framework agreements).
  • Business Closure: Meet annual sales targets through direct management of large public accounts.
  • Solution Design: Collaborate with the pre-sales team to translate complex needs into competitive technical and economic proposals.
  • Relationship Management: Maintain and expand a solid network of contacts within public bodies.

Minimum Requirements

  • Own Client Portfolio: Active network of contacts in various administrations (City Councils, Autonomous Communities, Provincial Councils, or Ministries).
  • Technical Background: Training in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or similar. Engineering in Computer Science, Telecommunications, DADE, or FP is valued.
  • Experience: Demonstrable experience of at least 5 years in consultative sales for the public sector in Spain.
  • Solid Knowledge in:
    • Cloud infrastructure (IaaS, PaaS), connectivity, SD-WAN, and datacenter services.
    • Cybersecurity: Familiarity with the National Security Scheme (ENS) and data protection solutions.
    • AI: Ability to evangelize use cases of Artificial Intelligence applied to public efficiency.
