What You’ll Do

As a Logistics Coordinator at Giga Energy, you will play a critical role in ensuring that materials and finished products move smoothly through our supply chain. You will handle the scheduling, tracking, and documentation of domestic and international shipments, while supporting our operations and manufacturing teams with day-to-day logistics execution.

  • Coordinate shipments of raw materials and finished products.
  • Schedule and track freight with various logistics partners.
  • Prepare essential shipping documentation.
  • Monitor shipments in transit and resolve issues.
  • Align logistics schedules with production and operations.

Where You’ll Work

This role is based in our Long Beach offices and requires full-time on-site work.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate domestic and international shipments.
  • Schedule and track freight with carriers and forwarders.
  • Manage shipping documents including bills of lading and customs paperwork.
  • Monitor transit and proactively resolve delays.
  • Collaborate with operations, procurement, and manufacturing teams.
  • Maintain accurate logistics records and dashboards.
  • Assist warehouse with inbound/outbound logistics.
  • Track logistics costs and review freight invoices.
  • Ensure compliance with trade regulations and company policies.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in logistics coordination, transportation, or supply chain support.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with domestic and international freight operations.
  • Basic knowledge of customs documentation and compliance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and logistics management systems.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Bonus Points

  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or electrical equipment supply chains.
  • Knowledge of global freight markets and Incoterms.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP or transportation management systems (TMS).
  • Additional language skills (Spanish, Mandarin, etc.).
