Data Strategy Group

The VP Data Business Analyst Data Strategy Group is responsible for building robust data architectures, ensuring data is functional, discoverable, and accessible to power innovative investment strategies.

Data Management & Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end operational activities in DSG’s data warehouse.
  • Monitor, analyze, investigate, and resolve daily operational incidents.
  • Oversee and ensure enterprise data quality and integrity.
  • Collaborate with business users to enhance data services.
  • Work with Data Engineers to implement data solutions using best practices.
  • Develop testing strategies and conduct user acceptance testing.
  • Document functional requirements and provide coaching to junior staff.
  • Streamline data operations processes for improvement and excellence.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum 6 years of work experience with 3+ years in data management.
  • Strong understanding of data management principles, data modelling, and integration.
  • Familiarity with SDLC, agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), and data warehousing tools.
  • Proficient in SQL, Tableau, Excel (formulas/macros), and enterprise databases (MS SQL, Snowflake, PostgreSQL).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • A background in economics/finance is preferred.
