Overview
GIC, one of the world’s largest sovereign wealth funds, is seeking an Associate for Trade Management & Asset Servicing. At GIC, you will work on managing the lifecycle of corporate actions and trade operations while collaborating with internal trading desks and external financial institutions.
Responsibilities
- Oversee corporate actions and proxy voting from announcement to execution.
- Collaborate with custodians and financial institutions to gather and analyze information.
- Support trading activities across Fixed Income, Currency, and Equities.
- Process trades for various instruments including cash securities, futures, and derivatives.
- Ensure timely settlement by monitoring trade matching and confirmations.
- Support asset servicing throughout the lifecycle including corporate events and income collection.
- Engage with external counterparties, brokers, and vendors to resolve operational issues.
- Leverage technology to design process integration solutions and drive improvements.
- Provide data management support and developmental cross-training.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in finance, business, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in operations, preferably in corporate actions or asset servicing.
- Knowledge of AI toolkits is a plus.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and excellent in communication with a drive for excellence.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience interacting with investment professionals is an advantage.
Work Environment & Compensation
GIC offers a blend of in-office collaboration and remote work with a four-day in-office requirement. The compensation includes base pay and performance bonuses, with an anticipated base salary range of $99,800 to $133,000.
