Position Overview

The Senior Security Engineer Security Operations at GHX reports to the Director of Security Operations and Incident Response. This role supports our global 24x7 monitoring and incident response programs, working closely with Security Architecture/Engineering, Tech Infrastructure, and Network teams.

Responsibilities

• Implement industry concepts for Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Security Operations, and Threat Intelligence.
• Assist in designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive DLP strategies.
• Develop and execute Security Operations strategy and enhance security controls.
• Collaborate with IT leaders and partner with Solutions Security Engineers.
• Assist with cybersecurity incidents, investigations, and forensics.
• Maintain detailed documentation, runbooks, and post-incident reports.

Required Knowledge And Skills

• Strong understanding of security monitoring and incident response processes.
• Experience with security tools including DLP, IDS/IPS, Email, Cloud, Network, and Application Security.
• Ability to lead security projects with cross-functional teams.
• Engagement with threat intelligence communities.
• Experience with security metrics, measurements, and process automation.

Required Experience

• 3-5 years in security operations.
• 5-10 years of overall IT experience.

Preferred Experience

• Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, GIAC, or CISM.

Estimated Salary & Benefits

Estimated base salary range: $109,000 - $146,200. Total compensation includes comprehensive benefits such as health, vision, dental insurance, accident and life insurance, 401k matching, paid time off, and education reimbursement.
