Role Overview

Get Offers is seeking a highly skilled Video Editing Expert to join one of its clients on a contract basis. In this role, you will help shape how next-generation AI systems learn professional video editing workflows. You will work end-to-end on real editing projects using OpenShot or Shotcut, demonstrating your authentic editing process, creative decision-making, and technical problem-solving. This is a unique opportunity to directly influence digital tools by showcasing the craft and mindset of an experienced video editor.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute complete video editing projects—from organizing raw footage to delivering polished final exports—using OpenShot or Shotcut.
• Demonstrate your real editing workflow, including asset management, sequencing, pacing, and creative problem resolution, while being recorded for AI training purposes.
• Clearly articulate your editing rationale and creative decisions in both written and verbal formats.
• Optimize workflows to ensure efficiency and high production value.
• Troubleshoot technical and creative challenges, documenting your approach and solutions.
• Participate in structured feedback sessions to refine best practices.
• Contribute to a collaborative environment focused on knowledge sharing and process transparency.

Required Qualifications

• Advanced expertise in OpenShot or Shotcut, with proven experience completing full projects from start to finish.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating the ability to transform raw footage into compelling visual stories.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in explaining workflow and decision-making.
• Strong asset organization and timeline management skills.
