Job Description

Role Overview

We are hiring on behalf of one of our clients collaborating with a leading AI research organization on a large-scale AI training initiative focused on improving narrative analysis, media interpretation, and culturally grounded entertainment reasoning in advanced language models.

We are seeking experienced TV and Movies Experts to create and evaluate high-quality film- and television-related prompts and responses. This is a multilingual opportunity, specifically seeking experts fluent and deeply engaged in Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Spanish, Russian, German, Arabic, Thai, Tamil, or Hindi.

It's important to note that this role is not about translation ability alone. Candidates must have sustained engagement with film and television within their linguistic and cultural ecosystem, including familiarity with:

  • Regional cinema and television industries
  • Genre conventions and storytelling traditions
  • Production styles and media formats
  • Critical discourse and review culture
  • Audience trends and culturally specific narrative norms

This role is ideal for serious film and TV enthusiasts, critics, reviewers, content creators, screenwriting hobbyists, or dedicated fans actively participating in entertainment communities within their language ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Author realistic prompts spanning film analysis, television storytelling, genre comparison, character development, screenwriting structure, industry trends, and media history.
  • Review and refine AI-generated responses for factual accuracy, narrative insight, cultural authenticity, and clarity.
  • Write high-quality “gold standard” responses for complex interpretive or comparative entertainment questions.
  • Create controlled prompt variations testing genre differences, cultural context, time periods, audience demographics, and production styles.
  • Evaluate outputs across tones (critical, analytical, conversational, industry-focused).
  • Identify model failure cases such as incorrect plot details, misattribution, shallow analysis, outdated references, or culturally inconsistent interpretations.

Ideal Qualifications

  • 2+ years of sustained engagement with film and television (reviewing, analysis writing, content creation, film studies, or active community participation).
  • Active participation in TV and film discourse within at least one of the specified language ecosystems.
  • Strong familiarity with regional film industries, television formats, genre traditions, and storytelling norms.
  • Ability to clearly articulate narrative structure, thematic analysis, and media critique in the target language.
  • Strong written communication skills and editorial judgment.

Commitment

  • Expected availability: 10–40 hours per week.
  • Fully remote with flexible scheduling.

Application Process

  • Submit your resume, writing samples, or relevant media-related work.
  • Complete a short form outlining your TV/film background and language proficiency.
  • Qualified applicants will receive follow-up steps within a few days.

Contract & Payment Terms

  • Engagement as an independent contractor.
  • Fully remote with flexible hours.
  • Projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded based on performance and business needs.
  • Weekly payments via Stripe or Wise based on services rendered.
  • Visa sponsorship is not available at this time.
