About the SQL Data Analyst Role at Get Offers
Get Offers is seeking experienced data professionals with advanced SQL expertise to support AI tool-use workflow development for one of their clients. This project-based, fully remote engagement focuses on improving agentic workflows that power advanced AI applications. The role offers flexible scheduling, ranging from short-term to ongoing based on project needs.
Role Overview
As a SQL Data Analyst, you will design and validate realistic SQL-based workflows that accurately reflect real-world data operations. Your specialized expertise will be crucial in evaluating and enhancing how AI systems interact with databases and structured data tools. This opportunity is perfectly suited for professionals in data analytics, data science, or quantitative domains who are eager to contribute at the forefront of AI innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Workflow Creation & Validation: Develop realistic SQL-driven workflows based on practical, real-world use cases. Design complex tasks involving joins, window functions, CTEs, and large dataset manipulation. Document ideal solutions for each workflow.
- AI Model Evaluation: Review and validate AI model tool-use capabilities specifically related to SQL workflows. Assess the logical reasoning and execution accuracy of AI models, providing structured feedback to enhance their performance.
- Data Quality & Optimization: Evaluate data integrity and implement robust validation checks. Identify workflow inefficiencies and proactively suggest improvements. Apply query optimization best practices to ensure high performance.
Ideal Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, data science, or related quantitative fields.
- Advanced SQL proficiency, including experience with window functions, Common Table Expressions (CTEs), complex joins across large datasets, and various optimization techniques.
- Hands-on experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Snowflake, BigQuery, or similar systems.
- Strong analytical thinking skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- A degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a closely related field is preferred.
More About This Opportunity
This is an independent contractor engagement, fully remote with flexible scheduling. Payments are processed weekly via Stripe or Wise. Project durations may vary based on performance and demand. Please note that H1-B or STEM OPT sponsorship is not available for this role, and the work does not involve access to confidential or proprietary employer information.
