Role Overview
We are hiring for one of our clients to support the training, evaluation, and improvement of advanced Artificial Intelligence systems. As a Software Engineer, you will apply your software engineering and computer science expertise to analyze, review, and improve AI-generated code. Your contributions will help ensure AI systems produce accurate, efficient, and safe programming outputs across a variety of technical domains. This is a fully remote, flexible engagement suitable for both experienced developers and strong computer science graduates.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, solve, and review complex computer science problems to train AI reasoning capabilities
- Review, analyze, and debug AI-generated code for correctness, efficiency, and reliability
- Evaluate code quality and adherence to software engineering best practices
- Provide clear, structured technical feedback to improve AI-generated responses
- Explain technical concepts and reasoning clearly in Spanish and English
- Work across multiple programming domains and projects based on skills and availability
- Follow project guidelines, quality standards, and confidentiality requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Candidates currently enrolled in a related degree program with strong coding skills are also eligible
- Strong proficiency in at least one programming language: Python, Java, JavaScript, or C++
- Professional fluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken)
- Strong analytical thinking, debugging ability, and attention to detail
- Preferred: 1+ year of software development experience
- Strong academic or project-based experience will also be considered
Compensation
Hourly compensation ranging from USD $15.00 to $32.00, based on task complexity and demonstrated proficiency. This is an independent contractor (freelance) engagement. Payments are issued according to project payment cycles. Contractors are responsible for applicable taxes and statutory obligations.
Work Arrangement
This role is fully remote and asynchronous, offering flexible scheduling aligned with project availability. There is an opportunity to contribute to multiple AI-focused projects over time.
