Role Overview: Software Developer

We are seeking an experienced Software Developer to join our client's team, collaborating with a leading AI research organization on a significant AI training initiative. This role focuses on enhancing the technical reasoning, systems understanding, and problem-solving capabilities of advanced language models.

This is a unique multilingual opportunity, requiring professionals fluent and active in one or more of the following languages: Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Spanish, Russian, German, Arabic, Thai, Tamil, or Hindi. Crucially, this position demands real-world professional experience within the specified linguistic and technical ecosystems, encompassing local engineering standards, developer communities, product development norms, technical terminology, documentation conventions, regional industry trends, and system constraints.

Key Responsibilities

• Author realistic prompts across various domains including software engineering, IT systems, architecture design, cybersecurity, data systems, networking, and cloud infrastructure.
• Review and refine AI-generated responses for technical accuracy, feasibility, clarity, and adherence to industry standards.
• Develop high-quality “gold standard” responses for complex scenarios such as debugging, architectural trade-offs, and implementation challenges.
• Create controlled prompt variations to test differences in constraints, environments, scalability requirements, and system assumptions.
• Evaluate outputs based on tone (technical documentation, explanatory, advisory) and identify model failure cases like logical flaws, incorrect details, security gaps, or unrealistic system designs.

Ideal Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
• 2+ years of professional experience in software development, systems engineering, IT, cybersecurity, data engineering, or related fields.
• Active professional familiarity with technology practices within at least one of the specified language ecosystems.
• Strong understanding of development workflows, system design principles, and technical documentation standards.
• Excellent analytical and written communication skills in the target language.
• Strong technical editorial judgment.

Commitment & Engagement

This is an hourly contract position for an independent contractor, offering fully remote work with flexible scheduling. Expected availability is 10–40 hours per week. Projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded based on performance and business needs. Weekly payments are processed via Stripe or Wise based on services rendered. Please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
