Ruby on Rails Developer (Remote)

Get Offers is seeking an experienced Ruby on Rails Developer to join a collaborative remote environment. In this role, you will design and maintain scalable web applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Ruby on Rails applications.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and web services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in peer code reviews to ensure code quality.
• Troubleshoot and optimize application performance to ensure smooth operation.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional Ruby on Rails experience.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and web service integration.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Proficiency with Git or similar version control systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively in a remote setting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) or DevOps practices.
• Experience working with distributed or international teams.

Additional Information

• Expected commitment: 20–40 hours per week.
• Time zone overlap with the client team may be required.
• Contract duration to be discussed during the interview process.
