QCAD Expert (Remote)
Get Offers is seeking a QCAD Expert to deliver high-quality 2D technical drafting projects. This role is ideal for experienced CAD professionals who can execute complete drafting workflows while maintaining professional documentation and manufacturing-ready standards.
Role Overview
You will manage end-to-end 2D drafting projects using QCAD, ensuring precision, organization, and compliance with industry drafting conventions. The role includes documenting workflow decisions and collaborating with technical stakeholders to maintain consistent drawing standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute complete 2D drafting projects in QCAD from concept to final export
- Utilize layers, blocks, snaps, and measurement tools to build accurate technical drawings
- Create precise geometry (lines, arcs, circles, splines, polylines) following drafting best practices
- Apply accurate dimensions, annotations, and technical notes
- Prepare and export files in DXF, DWG, or scaled print formats
- Organize drawings to meet manufacturing, architectural, or engineering standards
- Clearly document drafting workflow and technical reasoning
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure deliverable quality
Required Qualifications
- Advanced hands-on experience with QCAD in professional 2D drafting environments
- Strong foundation in 2D CAD principles and technical drawing conventions
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD or comparable CAD platforms
- Experience managing complete, production-ready drawing sets
- Familiarity with exporting files for manufacturing or architectural applications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and structured workflow management
- Comfortable working independently in a remote contract setting
