Philosophy Expert at Get Offers
We are hiring on behalf of one of our clients collaborating with a leading AI research organization on a large-scale AI training initiative focused on improving philosophical reasoning, theological analysis, and complex conceptual interpretation in advanced language models.
We are seeking experienced Philosophy Experts to create and evaluate high-quality prompts and responses related to religion, theology, and philosophical traditions. This is a multilingual opportunity. We are specifically seeking experts who are fluent and academically or professionally active in one or more of the following languages: Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Spanish, Russian, German, Arabic, Thai, Tamil, or Hindi.
Important: This role is not about translation ability alone. Candidates must have formal academic training or professional experience engaging with religious or philosophical traditions within their linguistic and cultural context, including familiarity with:
- Primary philosophical or religious texts
- Interpretive traditions and doctrinal frameworks
- Scholarly debates and schools of thought
- Historically and culturally grounded frameworks of interpretation
Key Responsibilities
- Author realistic prompts spanning metaphysics, ethics, epistemology, political philosophy, comparative religion, theology, scriptural interpretation, and intellectual history
- Review and refine AI-generated responses for conceptual rigor, interpretive nuance, historical accuracy, and cultural authenticity
- Write high-quality “gold standard” responses for complex, abstract, or comparative philosophical and theological questions
- Create controlled prompt variations testing doctrinal interpretations, philosophical assumptions, historical contexts, and comparative frameworks
- Evaluate outputs across tones (academic, analytical, explanatory)
- Identify model failure cases such as conceptual confusion, doctrinal misinterpretation, oversimplification of traditions, or culturally inconsistent framing
Ideal Qualifications
- 2+ years of academic study or professional experience in Philosophy, Religious Studies, Theology, or a related field
- Degree in Philosophy, Religious Studies, Theology, or equivalent academic training preferred
- Active scholarly engagement within at least one of the specified language ecosystems
- Strong familiarity with major philosophical traditions or religious texts within your linguistic and cultural context
- Ability to articulate complex conceptual arguments clearly and precisely in the target language
- Strong analytical skills and editorial judgment
Commitment
- Expected availability: 10–40 hours per week
- Fully remote with flexible scheduling
