Job Summary

One of our clients is seeking a skilled Norwegian Language Expert to contribute to a variety of language and content projects. In this role, you will utilize your linguistic expertise to ensure high-quality Norwegian communication across different materials and platforms. The ideal candidate has strong writing and editing abilities, deep knowledge of Norwegian language usage, and the ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, review, and edit Norwegian-language content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and cultural relevance.
• Maintain high linguistic standards across all written and verbal communications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to localize and adapt content for Norwegian-speaking audiences.
• Conduct linguistic quality checks and provide feedback to improve content consistency.
• Provide expert guidance on Norwegian language usage, grammar, and regional nuances.
• Assist in developing language resources, style guides, and documentation for Norwegian content.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to clarify project requirements and deliver quality results.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Native or near-native proficiency in Norwegian with strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Excellent writing and editing skills with strong attention to linguistic accuracy and detail.
• Background in linguistics, language studies, translation, or a related field.
• Experience in content localization, translation, or language quality assurance.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining clear communication.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional experience as a translator, linguist, or language expert.
• Familiarity with translation tools, terminology management systems, or localization platforms.
• Understanding of Norwegian cultural context and market communication trends.
