Role Overview: Mathematics Expert at Get Offers

Get Offers is collaborating with a leading AI research organization on a large-scale AI training initiative. This initiative aims to significantly improve mathematical reasoning, problem-solving precision, and formal analytical capabilities in advanced language models. We are currently seeking experienced Mathematics Experts to contribute by creating and evaluating high-quality mathematics-related prompts and responses.

This is a multilingual opportunity, and we are specifically looking for experts who are fluent and academically active in one or more of the following languages: Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Spanish, Russian, German, Arabic, Thai, Tamil, or Hindi.

Important: This role requires substantial academic training in mathematics within your linguistic and educational ecosystem, not merely translation ability. Candidates must be familiar with:

• Mathematical terminology and notation conventions
• Curriculum standards and instructional approaches
• Proof structures and formal reasoning norms
• Region-specific examination or competition formats

Key Responsibilities of a Mathematics Expert

• Author realistic mathematics prompts spanning various domains like algebra, calculus, geometry, probability, statistics, discrete mathematics, and advanced topics.
• Review and refine AI-generated solutions to ensure logical rigor, computational accuracy, clarity, and adherence to mathematical standards.
• Write high-quality “gold standard” solutions for complex, multi-step, or proof-based problems.
• Create controlled prompt variations to test differences in assumptions, notation, constraints, and difficulty levels.
• Evaluate AI outputs across various explanation styles, including formal proof, structured step-by-step solutions, and conceptual reasoning.
• Identify model failure cases, such as logical gaps, calculation errors, invalid proofs, or misuse of definitions and theorems.

Ideal Qualifications for a Mathematics Expert

• At least 2 years of formal academic training in Mathematics or a closely related quantitative field.
• Strong performance demonstrated in advanced mathematics coursework.
• Active engagement with mathematics within at least one of the specified language ecosystems.
• Deep familiarity with terminology, notation systems, and instructional conventions pertinent to your region.
• Ability to clearly and precisely explain mathematical reasoning in the target language.
• Strong analytical skills and careful editorial judgment.

Commitment and Work Arrangement

Expected availability for this role is between 10 to 40 hours per week. This is a fully remote position with flexible scheduling options, structured as an independent contractor engagement.
