Role Overview

Get Offers, on behalf of its client, a leading AI research organization, is seeking experienced Art Experts to contribute to a large-scale AI training initiative. This project focuses on enhancing visual analysis, artistic interpretation, and creative reasoning capabilities in advanced language models. This is an hourly contract position for an independent contractor.

We are specifically looking for experts fluent and deeply engaged in one or more of the following languages: Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Spanish, Russian, German, Arabic, Thai, Tamil, or Hindi.

Important: This role requires profound, sustained engagement with art within your linguistic and cultural context, going beyond mere translation ability. You should be familiar with:

• Regional and global art history
• Contemporary movements and artist communities
• Artistic terminology and critique frameworks
• Medium-specific techniques (painting, sculpture, digital, mixed media, etc.)
• Exhibition culture and cultural institutions
• Aesthetic standards and culturally specific references

This opportunity is ideal for practicing artists, art historians, critics, curators, educators, gallery professionals, or serious art enthusiasts who actively create, study, or analyze art in their respective language ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

• Author realistic prompts covering art history, visual analysis, technique, stylistic comparison, critique, and interpretation.
• Review and refine AI-generated responses for accuracy, nuance, cultural authenticity, and clarity.
• Write high-quality “gold standard” responses for complex or interpretive art scenarios.
• Create controlled prompt variations to test differences in artistic style, medium, historical period, cultural framing, or theoretical lens.
• Evaluate outputs across varying lengths, tones, and instruction constraints.
• Identify model failure cases such as misattribution, superficial stylistic analysis, cultural inaccuracies, or weak aesthetic reasoning.

Ideal Qualifications

• At least 2 years of sustained engagement with art through practice, scholarship, critique writing, exhibitions, education, or community participation.
• Active participation in art discourse within at least one of the specified language ecosystems.
• Strong familiarity with artistic movements, terminology, techniques, and culturally specific references.
• Ability to analyze and articulate visual and conceptual elements with clarity and nuance.
• Excellent written communication skills in the target language.
• Ability to work independently and exercise thoughtful editorial judgment.

Commitment & Logistics

Expected availability: 10–40 hours per week. This is a fully remote role with flexible scheduling.
