Business Development Manager Europe

What You’ll Do
- Drive Market Expansion in France: Identify, engage, and win new business with organisers and partners across the European market, helping GES establish a strong commercial presence.
- Be a Revenue Hunter: Target high-value opportunities and strategically drive pipeline growth to exceed revenue goals and accelerate our footprint in Europe.
- Lead the First Contact: Be the face of GES to new prospects, building credibility and rapport while uncovering their needs and tailoring winning solutions.
- Craft Proposals that Win: Produce compelling written proposals and RFP responses that stand out, demonstrating GES’s capabilities and value.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with colleagues in Exhibitions, Congress, Marketing, and other key departments to deliver seamless and successful client experiences.
- Own Your Success: You’ll be empowered to take full ownership of your market, your strategy, and your results—with the backing of a strong team behind you.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven success in business development or B2B sales, ideally within the exhibitions, events, or live experiences sector.
- A self-starter who thrives on challenge, embraces targets, and has a track record of closing new business.
- Fluent in languages including English, with the confidence to build relationships and pitch solutions at all levels.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience producing impactful proposals.
- Strategic thinker with a strong commercial mindset and a desire to make things happen.
- A collaborative team player with high standards, attention to detail, and a focus on excellence.
