Position Summary

The HR Internship at Gerber offers a unique opportunity to learn the fundamentals of HR while contributing to meaningful projects that impact the employee experience. As an HR Intern, you’ll be part of a team that is actively shaping how we attract, develop, and support our people—while building a strong foundation for your career. This role provides exposure across multiple areas of HR, including talent acquisition, onboarding, employee experience, and HR operations.

What You’ll Do

As an HR Intern, you will support day-to-day HR activities while also contributing to key initiatives and projects. Responsibilities may include:

  • Assisting with recruiting and talent acquisition efforts, including candidate coordination and communication
  • Supporting onboarding activities to help create a positive and seamless new hire experience
  • Partnering with the HR team on administrative and operational processes
  • Collaborating with managers and team members across the organization
  • Contributing to ongoing HR projects and process improvements

  • Job Architecture: Supporting job description updates, role clarity initiatives, and position evaluations
  • Onboarding Enhancement: Assisting with improvements to onboarding programs, materials, and overall experience
  • Internship Program Development: Helping design and structure future internship programs
  • Employee Experience Initiatives: Gathering feedback and supporting enhancements to HR programs and processes
