The Administrative Professional role provides comprehensive office support to a campus unit. Responsibilities include organizing correspondence, preparing reports, scheduling meetings and events, travel arrangements, maintaining filing systems and office supplies, and assisting customers with service needs.
Responsibilities
- Compose and route routine correspondence and documentation.
- Compile and organize data for reports.
- Schedule and arrange meetings and events.
- Make travel arrangements for staff as directed.
- Maintain office supplies inventory and filing systems.
- Receive phone calls and greet office visitors.
- Respond to customer questions and gather service information.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Educational and Experience Requirements
High school diploma, GED or Vocational School Diploma required; up to two years of related experience preferred.
Skills and Competencies
This role requires skills in general office administration, including document preparation, records management, event planning, scheduling, and basic computer applications. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
