Job Summary

George Weston Limited is seeking a high-caliber Senior Executive Assistant to support the Chief Talent Officer. This role requires a high degree of professionalism, exceptional organizational and planning skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, keen attention to detail, and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships. You will provide high-level administrative and project support, coordinate projects, prepare presentations, manage content, handle expense reporting and invoice management, schedule travel, and arrange interviews to support a positive candidate experience. This position is based in Toronto, Ontario, with a hybrid work model requiring a minimum of 4 days in the office per week. Responsibilities
  • Provide high level administrative and project support to the Chief Talent Officer, with a strong focus on complex calendar management, scheduling meetings and events, and responding to general inquiries.
  • Coordinate projects by developing agendas, tracking action items, and supporting project plans and timelines.
  • Prepare presentations and reports relating to projects.
  • Manage content on behalf of the team, including organizing, storing, and coordinating the destruction of content in accordance with retention policies.
  • Handle expense reporting for the Chief Talent Officer.
  • Oversee invoice management across multiple platforms, ensuring accuracy, timely processing, and compliance with internal policies.
  • Schedule travel arrangements and remain in contact with team members while away on business in the event of changes.
  • Develop and sustain positive working relationships with internal and external business partners, including members of various Weston Group Boards of Directors.
  • Coordinate meeting logistics, including room setup, technology readiness, and welcoming guests.
  • Arrange interviews with candidates and support delivering an overall positive candidate experience.
COMPETENCIES
  • Bachelor of Commerce or equivalent preferred.
  • Experienced corporate professional with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a comparative role (deadline-driven corporate environment supporting senior leaders, multiple team members, and projects).
  • Demonstrates a professional attitude with a high degree of integrity and diplomacy, strong attention to detail, initiative, sound judgment, and confidentiality.
  • Confidence and maturity to interact with individuals at various levels internally/externally.
