About the Role
We are looking for a passionate Medical Assistant. The ideal candidate will be motivated by joining a quickly growing organization and excited to help us improve the care experience for patients and providers. The Medical Assistant is a multi-skilled worker who assumes a wide range of clinical and administrative roles within the physician office setting, serving as a key team player when interacting and communicating with patients and/or clinical staff in the ambulatory care environment. Most importantly, we’re looking to bring someone into our team who is excited about our mission to improve mental healthcare across the country.
Job Responsibilities
- Support providers with the delivery of high-quality health care to ambulatory patients.
- Handle vital signs, such as weight, height, temperature, pulse, urinalysis, and respiration rate.
- Secure patient information and maintain patient confidence by completing and safeguarding medical records.
- Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
- Assist with drug screening processes, including specimen collection, shipment, and ordering supplies.
- Support HR compliance processes, including assisting with the completion and verification of I-9 forms.
- Complete all other relevant responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications / Skills
- At least one year of experience working in a medical office and/or mental health is preferred.
- Experience working with patients suffering from anxiety and depression is preferred.
- Ability to maintain professional appearance and demeanor, and interface well with patients in a mental health setting is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with a team.
- Excellent computer skills.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Associate's or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Some experience in healthcare settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of working in a clinical setting is preferred.
