Role Overview

The Cost Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting on cost data, developing cost models, and providing financial insights for cost reduction and process improvement at Gentex Corp.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support bid and proposal with internal/external costing efforts.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain, Program Management, and Engineering.
  • Collect and analyze production, labor, and material cost data.
  • Prepare detailed cost reports with variance analysis and forecasts.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and maintaining cost models.
  • Ensure integrity in the company’s ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
