Your Role

As a Human Resource Analyst Compensation and Retirement at Gensler, you will join our HR team in either Oakland, San Francisco or New York. You will be pivotal in analyzing, operating, creating, and delivering retirement and compensation programs including ESOP, Profit Sharing, 401(k) and global retirement plans, along with helping to establish new retirement programs internationally.

What You Will Do

  • Create, prepare, and distribute communications for new associate onboarding and global retirement initiatives.
  • Reconcile retirement contributions and manage vendor file uploads independently.
  • Provide data and analytical support for large-scale annual projects including bonus, merit, and profit sharing spreadsheets.
  • Create and deliver retirement statements for Global Profit-Sharing Plan participants.
  • Liaise with global HR, vendors, and leadership to resolve retirement/compensation inquiries.
  • Manage wellness initiatives and represent the retirement team during Annual Wellbeing Week.
  • Maintain retirement content on the Gensler benefits portal and support the HRIS team with system administration.
  • Conduct effective data analyses on benefits compliance activities including audits and non-discrimination testing.
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Participate in special projects and fulfill additional duties as assigned.

Your Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required with 5+ years’ experience in HR focused on retirement administration or compensation. Advanced knowledge of ERISA and benefits-related legislation is essential. You should possess strong customer service, analytical, organizational, and technical skills with proficiency in MS Office and HRIS (Workday preferred). A motivated self-starter with excellent communication skills and a willingness to go the extra mile is ideal.
