Overview

The Sr Engineer, Cloud Development Support plays a critical role in bridging customer experience with product engineering, ensuring rapid resolution of technical issues and continuous improvement of the platform.
Key Focus Areas
- Isolate, diagnose, and resolve product bugs
- Develop automation and self-service solutions
- Manage abusive access and mitigate malicious activity
Role & Responsibilities
This position acts as a technical expert and escalation point for Priority 1 incidents, collaborating with R&D, QA, and customer support teams. Responsibilities include providing advanced technical consultation, designing automated solutions with Dev Support Automation engineers, mentoring support engineers, and maintaining detailed technical documentation.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent experience
- 2+ years experience with complex SaaS or CCaaS solutions
- Proven customer-facing experience with strong technical communication skills
- Experience with microservices architectures and modern programming languages
Skills Required
- Advanced troubleshooting of integration issues (REST APIs, Webhooks, WebSockets)
- Strong understanding of application-layer technologies (HTTP, DNS, OAuth)
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure and STT/TTS systems
- Foundational knowledge of WebRTC and scripting or development
