The Role

As a Generate Inhouse Adviser, you will provide limited-scope advice to existing and prospective clients on Generate’s KiwiSaver Fund products. This will include doing introduction calls once a meeting has been booked in the calendar, phoning the client to give a KiwiSaver presentation and enrolling the client should they wish to go ahead and doing ongoing follow-ups with prospective clients that are not ready yet to make a decision or have not yet provided the required documentation for enrolment.

The team is also responsible for making outbound proactive calls to a range of different types of members, including those who have joined via the Generate website and have not provided the required documents or need a welcome call, or have queries relating to their Generate KiwiSaver Fund.

About You

  • Have completed or in the process of completing New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services (Level 5).
  • At least 2+ years in equivalent sales, phone based advisory, or customer service.

You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to build and sustain long-term customer relationships, fostering rapport and trust. You are flexible, adaptable, and composed, demonstrating impressive organisation and time management skills. Resilient and able to overcome difficulties, you are open to feedback and committed to continuous improvement. You thrive both independently and collaboratively, believing that sharing information empowers the team to achieve its collective goals.

With strong IT literacy and the ability to adapt to new technology, you maintain a relentless focus on customer experience, always acting in the best interest of both internal and external customers. Your high-performance mindset drives you to deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines or under pressure with minimal supervision.
