Overview
General Motors is seeking a curious, data-driven People Analytics Analyst to join its People Analytics Center of Excellence. In this role, you will be deployed across various parts of the business and work alongside People Analytics Consultants to deliver actionable insights that inform strategic talent decisions and enhance organizational effectiveness.
Work Arrangement
The role is primarily remote within the U.S. Candidates within 50 miles of GM hubs in Mountain View, CA, Warren, MI, or Austin, TX will work a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite).
The Role
As a People Analytics Analyst, you will:
- Analyze complex people data to support talent decisions.
- Collaborate with consultants and present findings to leaders.
- Support initiatives in organizational health, hiring, retention, and workforce planning.
- Contribute to developing and enhancing People Analytics solutions.
- Manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
Requirements
Candidates should have 3+ years of client-facing People Analytics or Human Capital Consulting experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in tools such as Excel, Power BI, SQL, R, or Python. A solid understanding of HR data and the employee lifecycle is required along with excellent communication skills and a quantitative academic background.
