Job Overview
The Associate Producer at General Motors plays a key role in enabling the operational frameworks of the GM Human Interface Design team. This role ensures seamless collaboration between Software Product Management, Engineering, Program Management, Marketing, and Brand Studios in delivering exceptional user experiences.
Work Arrangement
This role is primarily remote. However, if you are within a 50-mile radius of Austin or Warren, you are expected to report in three times a week. Relocation benefits may be eligible.

Role Responsibilities
Design Program Practice Management: Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ideate, iterate, and launch new product experiences. Utilize storytelling skills to influence design intent and implement robust operating models.
Design Program Direction: Oversee end-to-end delivery of design initiatives, standardize scalable program management frameworks, and communicate progress to senior leadership.
Design Program Implementation: Ensure adherence to objectives, maintain quality standards, and facilitate collaboration to resolve risks, ensuring smooth integration of design solutions.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years in program and project management with software design teams.
- Strong storytelling and creative problem-solving skills.
- Portfolio showcasing workflow processes and design solutions.
- Experience in managing multiple projects and resources.
- Commitment to designing inclusive and accessible products.
- Digital experience in mobility or in-car industries is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation is estimated between $121,000 and $185,500, based on state regulations. Additional bonus potential includes incentive pay based on company, job level, and performance. Benefits include healthcare, retirement plans, and various employee perks.
