Overview
General Motors is seeking a Lead Calibration Engineer – Low Voltage Infrastructure to support electric power system calibrations across all GM vehicles. The role focuses on ensuring robust functionality, reliability, and resilience of LVI features, including low voltage setpoint control, battery saver modes, and load management.
What You'll Do
- Own and lead LVI feature performance and ecosystem health status.
- Coordinate calibration planning and release of high-quality calibration scripts.
- Compile and release defect free calibration scripts using tools such as CRETA.
- Support resource planning and integration into Scrum workflows using JIRA.
- Drive issue resolution across multiple domains including vehicle and plant operations.
- Collaborate with Technical Specialists and Subsystem Leads for strategy alignment.
- Develop and optimize calibrations for standardization and continuous improvement.
- Participate in development trips and test activities for calibration validation.
Your Skills & Abilities
Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in engineering, 5+ years post-graduation engineering experience, and a minimum of 2 years in calibration engineering. Proven leadership and strong communication skills are essential.
Preferred Skills & Additional Information
- Master’s degree and 8+ years of engineering experience.
- Experience with DFSS Black Belt Certification and mentorship.
- Familiarity with HIL and SIL test benches and low voltage power control systems.
