Overview
The UI/UX Designer role at General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is a remote position supporting government projects. You will guide government clients through human-centered design processes and create usable, accessible digital products.
How You Will Make an Impact
As a UI/UX Designer, you will plan and execute UX initiatives through discovery, interface design, and testing. You will conduct user research, develop wireframes and prototypes, and ensure 508 compliance and accessibility. You will also collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including service designers, engineers, and data scientists to integrate design within Agile sprints.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- US Citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
- BA/BS or equivalent, 5+ years overall, 4+ years in professional UX/UI design
- Proven portfolio demonstrating methods, tools, and design craft
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, Zeplin
- Strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities
- Experience working in Agile environments and on scrum teams
