Scientific Research Associate at General Dynamics Information Technology
Seize your opportunity to make a personal impact as a Scientific Research Associate on a team delivering administrative, scientific, technical and logistical support to the NIH Division of Program Coordination, Planning, and Strategic Initiatives (DPCPSI). You will contribute to the new NIH DPCPSI Office of Research Innovation, Validation and Application (ORIVA) and support New Approach Methodologies (NAMs) and modeling methods.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting scientific research using nonanimal and innovative techniques.
- Scientific writing and compilation of large project documents and comprehensive reports.
- Collecting data via experiments, library research and other methods.
- Assisting in preparations for presentations and published articles.
- Providing quality assurance on deliverables and ensuring timely service.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
- MA/MS in a related field with 2+ years experience in scientific and technical writing.
- Proficiency in fundamental programming for data analysis and management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Preferred experience in NAMs or related scientific fields and HHS/NIH exposure.
