Overview

At GDIT, as a Manager of Cloud Infrastructure, you will lead a Cloud Engineering team, manage deployments, oversee cloud migrations, and architect solutions that support high-stakes government, defense, and intelligence projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise day-to-day operations of the Cloud Infrastructure team.
  • Manage deployment into Managed Shared Services cloud environment using Terraform and native tools.
  • Oversee cloud migration of customer data and manage large on-prem and cloud environments with Infrastructure as Code.
  • Collaborate across teams and stakeholders to design, implement, and advise on cloud solutions.
  • Mentor and train staff while managing vendor relationships and escalations.
  • Contribute to project planning, budgeting, and business development.

Required Qualifications

BA/BS degree (preferred in Computer Science or Engineering), with 10+ years in a related field and 3+ years managing cloud engineers. Proficiency in Terraform, Python, or Ansible, cloud migration experience (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI), and enterprise Linux or Windows experience. Must be able to obtain a DoW clearance.
