Job Description
Junior Front End Engineer at General Dynamics Information Technology
GDIT seeks a Junior UI Developer to join our team, to provide dedicated support for the CCTE Division. This position requires knowledge of both front-end web application development, and experience utilizing test case scenarios. The role entails consistent interactions with clients at the EPA, on a large team, distributed across six locations in the U.S. The selected candidate must be capable of self-direction with assigned work tasks as well as comfortable and familiar with best practices in remote work. This is an ideal opportunity for an entry-level to mid-level developer.
Major Responsibilities
- QA testing via test cases
- Nuxt3 development, and coding primarily to support senior level staff and EPA Federal teams
- Create documentation for projects, bug fixes, etc., received from clients
- Communicate effectively to support customers and senior level developers to design, plan, and refine large scale projects
- Experience with Vue.js/Nuxt and React/Next is preferred
- Work in Agile/Scrum environments that include standups, JIRA boards, 2-week sprints, etc.
