IT Quality Assurance Tester Principal

Job Summary

GDIT is seeking a highly experienced IT Quality Assurance Tester Principal to support the Indian Health Service (IHS) Electronic Health Record Modernization Program (PATH EHR). This role is crucial for enhancing patient experience and care quality across numerous facilities nationwide. As an IT Quality Assurance Tester Principal, you will provide senior-level leadership in all testing activities. This includes developing comprehensive test plans, authoring test scripts, designing scenarios, overseeing execution, coordinating defect triage, and ensuring alignment across various workstreams. You will collaborate closely with other workstreams, subcontractors, and vendors to guarantee thorough testing coverage and successful site implementations. Additionally, you will mentor and guide junior and mid-level testers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development, documentation, and maintenance of functional test scripts and testing artifacts.
• Define and validate complex end-to-end testing scenarios.
• Facilitate and lead test plan and script review sessions with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Provide oversight and expert support for customer-led end-user testing cycles.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of regression testing suites.
• Lead validation of sustainment updates and assess downstream impacts.
• Mentor, coach, and provide guidance to junior and mid-level test engineers.
• Partner with workstream leadership to refine testing strategies, readiness criteria, and risk assessments.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 8+ years of experience in developing and executing Healthcare IT application tests.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Health’s EHR suite.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Level 5 clearance.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous testing experience with Oracle Health’s solution suite.
• Experience supporting Federal EHR programs.
• Knowledge of Medical Device interoperability and validation.
