About the Role

GDIT is the leading systems integrator in the Zero Trust Defense sector market. In the Cybersecurity Engineer Senior role, you will design, implement, and maintain high-distributed network systems aligned to zero trust principles for a DoD client.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement SD-WAN based network architecture globally
  • Configure, install, and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and related software
  • Plan and document network upgrades, expansions, and optimizations
  • Diagnose complex network issues and resolve performance, security, and connectivity problems
  • Mentor junior network engineers and oversee network documentation
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless network integration
  • Ensure compliance with DoD regulations and zero trust requirements

Required Skills & Expertise

  • 5-8 years experience in network security/engineering
  • Expertise in zero trust network security, SD-WAN, and firewall architecture
  • Experience with network protocols like BGP, OSPF, and VLANs
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Familiarity with cloud security in AWS, Azure, and GCP
