Job Summary
GeneDx is seeking a User Experience Researcher to join our growing Customer Experience & Product team. In this role, you will lead end-to-end research initiatives across multiple channels and product experiences—from digital to print—for patients, healthcare providers, and internal teams.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and execute independent UX research projects across varied channels.
- Plan, design, and run studies on digital and physical touchpoints.
- Present research findings through clear storytelling and actionable insights.
- Utilize diverse research methodologies including usability tests, surveys, and interviews.
- Synthesize insights with internal data, analytics, and market research.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product designers, managers, engineers, and business stakeholders.
- Recruit and manage user research communities including patients and providers.
- Proactively identify research opportunities aligned with product roadmaps.
Education, Experience, and Skills
3-5 years of UX Research experience, ideally within healthcare, healthtech, or life sciences. Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative methods, familiarity with research tools like UserTesting and Qualtrics, and strong communication skills are essential.
Physical Demands & Additional Information
Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods. Candidates will follow additional instructions as needed.
