Supervisor, Operations at GENCO
The Operations Supervisor is responsible for the safe execution of daily operational plans and strategies. This role involves managing and leading a warehouse team, ensuring compliance with key processes, and achieving safety, quality, efficiency and financial KPIs. The position is accountable for product safety, quality, legality, and integrity.
Primary Responsibilities
- Supervise at least 2 full-time direct reports, including hiring and performance management.
- Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly production activities in warehouse operations.
- Prepare and distribute operational reports and ensure schedules and assignments are implemented correctly.
- Conduct daily start-up meetings to communicate workflow and safety practices.
- Maintain a safe, clean and orderly work environment following corporate 5’s standards.
- Coordinate special projects and assist in physical inventories and facility security.
You Might Be a Great Fit If…
You have a Bachelor’s degree or military experience, or a minimum of 6 months in a warehouse/supply chain environment. Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving skills, and experience with quality management are essential.
Physical/Cognitive Requirements
- Ability to follow policies and procedures, read and interpret information.
- Capable of physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Stamina to sit, walk and stand for the duration of the shift.
