Job Responsibilities

As a Field Service Engineer at GEA Group, you will independently manage assigned on-site service interventions, ensuring timely and high-quality results. Your role involves active interaction with customers to provide exceptional service and support.

  • Independently manage assigned on-site service interventions in a timely and high-quality manner.
  • Maintain active contact with customers, fostering strong relationships.
  • Install, commission, validate, and calibrate new equipment with precision.
  • Create detailed technical documentation and daily service reports.
  • Perform effective troubleshooting, both remotely and on-site.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections, including repairs and equipment relocation.

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with a strong technical background and a passion for machine engineering. The ideal Field Service Engineer will be a service-oriented team player with commercial acumen, ready to travel frequently within the country.

  • Technical education with a focus on machine engineering or mechanics.
  • Experience or strong interest in machine-building topics such as application knowledge, process engineering, electronics and controls, and mechanical engineering.
  • Enthusiastic, service-oriented, and flexible team player with commercial affinity.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the country.
  • Language skills: Romanian (mother tongue) and advanced English.

This position offers a gross annual salary of at least 150.000 RON, with market-competitive overpayment possible based on professional experience and qualifications.
