Overview
The Supply Chain Leader, Advanced Nuclear Projects at GE Vernova is responsible for developing and executing long-term supply chain strategies for new nuclear power plant projects, focusing on Instrumentation and Controls (I&C) and Electrical sectors.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive supplier contractual and strategic relationships addressing cost, risk, and supply continuity.
- Lead negotiation strategies to achieve business goals.
- Drive supplier selection, development, and performance management with business teams.
- Collaborate with sourcing fulfillment teams for smooth processes and hand-offs.
- Work with business teams on forecasting, planning, and strategy alignment.
- Ensure supplier compliance with regulatory, technical, and government purchasing requirements.
- Interface with customers and regulators to fulfill key requirements.
- Support Lean culture through cross-functional improvement of purchasing processes.
- Perform other relevant duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and 10 years of relevant experience in sourcing, engineering, or related fields.
Eligibility and Additional Requirements
- Travel up to 10% as needed.
- Ability to work during U.S. Eastern Time Zone hours.
- Proficiency with computers and relevant software including Microsoft Suite and Oracle ERP.
Desired Characteristics
Experience in I&C and Electrical for nuclear or industrial applications, MBA or Master's preferred, strong interpersonal and leadership skills, experience with data analytics tools, and lean/Six Sigma certifications are desired.
Compensation & Benefits
Base pay range is between 108,800.00 to 181,300.00 USD annually, plus a variable incentive of 15%. Benefits include comprehensive healthcare, retirement plans, tuition, adoption assistance, and paid leave.
Additional Information
This is a remote position requiring access to U.S. export-controlled information. Employment is contingent on a successful drug screen and legal authorization to work in the United States. The application deadline is October 31, 2025.
