Job Overview

The Software Delivery Manager at GE Vernova is a pivotal role within the services organization. You will own the project delivery model, act as a technical leader, and cultivate relationships with customers during both pre-sales and project delivery phases to ensure defined business outcomes are met.

Roles and Responsibilities

You will share responsibilities with the Project Manager on scope, schedule, risk, and quality management while being accountable for end-to-end software delivery. Key responsibilities include:

• Building and tracking Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).
• Managing project teams and activities across global and APAC locations.
• Communicating project status, risks, mitigation, and issues.
• Triggering and validating various engineering gate reviews.
• Utilizing performance measurement tools and deploying GE Vernova GridOS and Performance solutions.
• Applying full stack development skills including UI/UX integration.
• Collaborating with development leads and ensuring deliverables meet quality standards.
• Facilitating client inquiries, testing runs, and automation processes using API documentation.
• Providing technical leadership during pre-sales and delivery phases.
• Engaging in customer management activities and ensuring smooth project transitions.

Additional Responsibilities

In addition to the above, you will lead technical requirements workshops, present proposals, and take ownership of resolving issues through a self-driven initiative.

Required Qualifications

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field, has at least 2+ years of industry specific experience, and demonstrates strong analysis, software development experience, and a deep understanding of the SDLC. Experience with energy industry trends, DER management, and asset management is essential.

Nice To Have

Advanced degrees, AWS and TOGAF certifications, DevOps and cybersecurity hands-on experience, and familiarity with cloud-based and utility integration solutions are advantageous.

Work Details

This is a remote position. As GE Vernova is a global organization, candidates should be prepared to work across different time zones and be available outside normal working hours when necessary.
